Mr. & Mrs. Green Thumb
My family and I spend most of our free time outdoors and a lot of the time, we are outside tending to our modest garden. There's something so therapeutic about gardening and I have personally found it to be a very rewarding experience. I've been growing vegetables, mostly from seed to plate since about 4 years ago and being able to pick, cook and serve food I've made, knowing that nothing but love has been added gives me peace of mind that my family is eating something so healthy, natural and wholesome. It's a freeing feeling, especially in this GMO, additive infested world we live in.
We picked up our first batch of vegetables as we missed the start of growing season (February) but better late than never! I'm starting off with some Basil and mini-Tomatos and I am hoping to grow my usual assortment of lettuce, peppers, scallions, herbs and hopefully this year, carrots!
These are pretty easy growing kits and perfect for beginners. I picked these up along with my regular seeds, let's hope these are as successful.
If you're interested in growing your own food, I recommend doing a lot of research. I did most of my research via Pinterest and started off with the easiest vegetables and herbs to grow. Good luck and now I leave you with my Husbands amazing gardening skills.
