Baked Apple

This may come as a surprise to you but 80% of my food intake is clean eating. Yes, I don't eat processed foods as much as it looks like I do (lol!). Eating clean has contributed to my post-baby weight loss (60 pounds!) and although my eating isn't as strict as it was when I first started my journey, I still try to balance the good and the deliciously bad.

I often find myself craving for a sweet treat so this pushed me to search for a healthier alternative via Pinterest and lo and behold, I found a recipe for Baked Cinnamon Apples. I made a few changes and removed the butter and brown sugar as I wanted this to be as clean and simple as possible. Ingredients: - 1 Sliced Apple (I used a Red Delicious!) - A Pinch of Cinnamon Directions: Slice your apple into fours (you can leave the skin on if you want) and sprinkle cinnamon on your slices. Put slices into a microwavable bowl and nuke them for 2 minutes. Let your apple cool before eating because it'll be super hot. Once your waited long enough (haha, this part was hard for me too) enjoy your easy and healthy dessert. It tastes like delicious apple pie , yum!
